Paper Holder originated from 'YY EXCHANGE' aluminum connector project. Based on the concept of the connector as a device for generating diverse structures rather than a component for a fixed outcome, NICEWORKSHOP developed a transparent structure for storing posters and leaflets from past exhibitions.
The printed materials accumulated inside the structure document five years of the studio's experiments and exhibition history, while the aluminum connectors link different projects, timelines, and making processes into a continuous narrative.
