A Spotlight on Korean Design marks the first exhibition by Design Miami in Asia, taking place at the iconic Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in the heart of Seoul.
The exhibition shines a light on the unique spirit of Korean design—from traditional crafts such as mother-of-pearl lacquerware, to inventive use of unconventional materials like horsehair. By reinterpreting materials through historical context while envisioning the future, Korean designers present diverse and dynamic perspectives on contemporary design.
