ENGINEERED CHOPSTICKS

04.2026

We present our new chopsticks design shaped for intuitive use. Traditionally requiring skill and practice, this design makes them easier and more accessible for those unfamiliar with chopsticks.

For us, chopsticks are a very familiar everyday tool. However, we also recognize that for users from cultures centered around forks and knives, chopsticks can still feel unfamiliar and difficult to handle. This project began from that gap. Rather than focusing only on the form, we approached chopsticks as a tool that could help users experience and learn their use more intuitively. The intention was to create an object that supports the act of handling chopsticks, allowing first-time users to engage with them more naturally.
