'niceworkshop.’ is a Seoul-based design studio specializing in experimental creations that explore the physical properties of materials. Through a diverse range of projects, they are actively building a unique design language. Notable works include the 'Bolt Series,' utilizing full threaded bolts, the interactive 'Affordance Series' of furniture designed to induce action, and the nature-inspired craftsmanship of 'Neo Naturalism.' The studio consistently pushes the boundaries of design, creating distinctive pieces that reflect their commitment to originality and material exploration.

SANGMYEONG YOO

Hyunseog Oh (b. 1994) grew up in a city located in middle side of South Korea. He received a BA in interior architecture from Soongsil University. Hyunseog Oh established ‘niceworkshop’ in 2021, and continuing his creative activities as an independent artist and a wide range of creative activities ranging from objects, furniture, and spaces.

Sangmyeong Yoo (b. 1997) is a Business director of niceworkshop. He received a BA in interior architecture from Soongsil University. After two years of hands-on experience in an interior design atelier, he joined niceworkshop and continuing to direct in business part of a wide range from objects, furniture, and spaces.
