We aim to repurpose heavy marble traditionally used as a decorative material affixed to walls. They regard wheelchairs as mobile furniture and seek to challenge stereotypes about the usage of marble. By integrating marble into the structure of wheelchairs, a material not commonly associated with mobility aids, we transform the conventional role of marble. Firmly fixing the marble onto the wheelchair, they redefine its purpose, turning it into functional elements such as seats, backrests, and armrests. In doing so, we challenge preconceived notions about the expected functionalities of materials.
